Professor Yuangshan Chuang, International President of Deep University, serves as Chair of the Academic Committee of International Lions University. Professor Chuang earned his doctoral degree in computational linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He taught at the Doctoral Program of the English Department at National Kaohsiung Normal University and at the English Department of I-Shou University. He founded the College of Humanities at Kunshan University and served as Dean. He was also invited to serve as Distinguished Professor at Tajen University.

Professor Chuang conducted researches at the University of Michigan at Ann-Arbor, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the Academia Sinica in Taiwan. He  delivered a speech and offered two seminars at the Language Center of the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
